The purpose of writing this work is its presentation to the General Directorate of Housing and Department of Housing and Social Welfare of the Principality of Asturias., for the declaration of the delimited scope as Illas Comprehensive Rehabilitation Area, in the municipality of Illas, to promote citizens' access to housing within the scope of the Asturian Housing Plan which regulates the State Housing and Rehabilitation Plan. The work is carried out as technical assistance promoted by the Illas City Council.

After a detailed study of each building, It is concluded that the most representative cultural elements of the area are found in Callezuela, the capital of the Council, it's about the Bárcena Palace and of the Church of San Julián de Illas.

It is worth highlighting the fact that within the Area in question there is a limited area designated as ARCHAEOLOGICAL HERITAGE.. According to the General Planning Plan of the Council of Illas, It would be a protected land around the Church of San Julián.

This declaration of Comprehensive Rehabilitation Area is inserted within a medium and long-term plan of the municipality of Illas, which provides for the delimitation of the areas called El Bruzal, The Callezuela and The Fountain, which will give a total of 22 housing y 4 unique buildings, as well as the urbanization from the entire area.
